Deep Insights 07: Advantages of HurricaneSwap — High Scalability

In the field of cross-chain protocols, high scalability mainly refers to two aspects of performance: the ability to support new assets and new chains.

In terms of supporting new assets, some cross-chain protocols only support stable coins, BTC and ETH, because supporting new assets requires a good market depth on all chains involved, otherwise, very large slippage will occur. Therefore, only limited assets can be listed.

And some cross-chain protocols will use aggregate transactions to supplement this part, which causes the entire cross-chain transaction process to be very complicated. An aggregate transaction will be performed first, exchanging the user’s assets to the assets that the cross-chain bridge supports. Then a cross-chain transfer will be performed, and an aggregate transaction again. Not only will the cross-chain time be extended, the user will also have to pay additional fees for the aggregate transactions.

HurricaneSwap supports 6 assets of BSC at the beginning of its launch, and it is directly traded without aggregate transactions. And HurricaneSwap also has a strong ability to support new assets — as long as a liquidity provider pledges new assets on HurricaneStation, HurricaneSwap users can trade them immediately.

HurricaneSwap has cooperated with many well-known institutions in the industry to ensure the market depth of assets on the platform, and the institutions will be announced after it is officially launched.

Regarding access to the new chain, the first consideration for most current cross-chain protocols is the market depth of stablecoins, BTC and ETH on the new chain. If it’s sufficient, then they will pledge to create an LP pool to complete the cross-chain.

HurricaneSwap establishes a HurricaneStation on each chain, and any liquidity provider can complete the new chain expansion by adding liquidity in the HurricaneStation on the new chain. Therefore, any new chain can be expanded as long as it meets the audit standards.

In summary, HurricaneSwap has high scalability in both new assets and new chains. Some users may worry about whether the assets or chains are poor ones. Just rest assured! The HurricaneSwap team will strictly review and screen the new cross-chain assets in the early stage of the launch, and later it will also refer to community governance decisions to avoid risks.
